Why blog about “The End Times”? The main reason why I want to publish a blog focusing on the end time, is simply because I think there is too little talk about the end times among today’s Christians. One of our Grand Old Men of Ministry in Norway, Emanuel Minos, was very concerned with the end times, and he spent much of his time teaching on that subject. When he released his book “The Bell has Tolled for the Third Time,” he quoted another of our old chieftains, Levi Petrus, who said: “When the Christian people stop talking about the end time, well, here it is!”
I believe that what the Bible calls the end of this age, and the Second Coming of Christ, is just around the corner. I also believe that the Bible calls every Christian to ready themselves, and to present themselves as a chast bride to the bridegroom when He comes for His bride.
The focus of this blog will not be to immerse itself deep and intricated eschatology or end-time doctrine, because that would be far above my theologically qualifications, nor do I think that is the purpose of the prophetic word. The gospel is so simple that even a child can understand it, and so it is with the word of God. It’s written by simple people – for simple people. The kingdom of God belongs to all who believe, and the treasures God has entrusted to us, we hold in pots of clay. “Brothers, consider the time of your calling: Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were powerful; not many were of noble birth. But God chose thefoolish things of the world to shame the wise;God chose the weak things of the world toshame the strong.“says 1 Corinthians 1: 26-27
I hope that you as a reader will find relevant and available material and can teach you something about the end times. The blog will also take a closer look at all the signs of the times we live in, and what is happening around us that we should keep a close eye on.
You might find that some of the material presented here, may be perceived as challenging and at times shocking. I therefor encourage parents to be careful about letting their children see some of the articles and video clips shared on this blog. The world is a scary place, and there is a lot of evil deeds to be witnessed if you start digging utside the mainstream media. Some of the material is probably easyilly discarded as conspiracy theories, but then I would challenge you to not to let yourself scare off so easily without first asking yourself – who is labeling this stuff conspiracy theories, if not the very ones who is deceiving and conspiring?
My personal ambitions with this blog are quite modest. I have adjusted my worldview to one that I hope and believe is in par with the Bible. God has no plans to make it a better place – on the contrary! God’s plan for this world is to punish all disobedience before He returns. Both the earth and all the deeds done upon it shall be burned up … However, we look forward to new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. – 2 Peter’s letter 2:10, 13
I will conclude with some verses from Jesus’ own description of the end time…
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away. No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.… For in thedays before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. And they were oblivious, until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.” – Matthew 24: 36-39
If we as Christians live purely and do not sin against God, then we too will be prepared and understand the times we live in. It is therefore my greatest wish that this blog will be able to help you prepare for the end times, so that you are ready the day Jesus returns for His bride.
